Hello all my wonderful students and parents!
The fall has been flying by, and now we're getting into the holiday season, cooler weather, as well as time off from school, which will be the focus of this month's post.
But, before we get into that, I want to congratulate all of the middle school students who participated in their All-District and All-Region Band auditions. I'm proud of every single one of you, and the hard work you put into being prepared. For those who made the bands, you have some great experiences to look forward to. High School All-Region auditions are right around the corner, and I know those students are working hard and looking forward to their day to shine.
And that brings us to the upcoming holidays.
I plan on taking tine off for the entire week of Thanksgiving as most of the schools I teach at will be off for that time as well. Similarly, I plan to be off in December and January, according to each school's scheduled days off. However, I will probably only be teaching a few lessons the final week before winter break to avoid final exams schedules for those who have them. I may teach a few lessons over the holidays for those students who are participating in All-Region or All-State auditions that come after the break. I will work out the schedule with those students when the time comes.
I'm so proud of all my students right now! It's been a great year so far, and I have high expectations for the rest of it!
